I am Dr. Kevin H. Collins and I was born and raised in Port Jefferson, N.Y. After a short stay in Los Angeles, I decided to join the United States Army where my medical training began in 1984 as a combat medic. I served during Desert Storm with the 410th Evacuation Hospital when my reserve unit was activated. By then, I had completed my undergraduate study at Kansas State University and after spending nine months in Iraq and Kuwait, I returned home and was able to attend Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1995.
I became a Nevada resident immediately after graduation, and currently work in Pahrump as an Associate Veterinarian. I am the owner of a mobile veterinary practice in Las Vegas; Integrated Veterinary Services. While I'm not against Western Medicine, I'm a true believer in Traditional Chinese Medicine and currently work to heal animals through natural Herbal Therapy and Acupuncture.
